The City of Chilliwack is a community of approximately 86,000 people, located 100 kilometres east of downtown Vancouver. It is bordered by Abbotsford to the west and Hope to the east. A growing population with an ever-expanding infrastructure, Chilliwack is quickly becoming a hub for small and large businesses. Leisure & recreational facilities, shopping centres, arts, culture, and a continuously growing school district is what’s attracting new businesses and residents to the area. The city was built on agriculture and tourism but due to a boom in housing developments, easy access to the Trans-Canada Highway, and close proximity to the U.S. Border Chilliwack is becoming home to more and more businesses.
The Hampton Inn will be the first hotel built in Chilliwack in over 20 years making it the newest hotel in the market. It is being built with leisure, corporate and government markets in mind, designed with meeting rooms, fitness center, indoor pool, water slide and jacuzzi.
The commercial component will offer six unique pads designed to accommodate between 12-16 tenants, three of which will have drive-thru potential. The property has been ideally zoned for free standing coffee, full service restaurants, convenience stores, retail service units, and recreational retail uses.
